Designed by Duany Platter-Zyberk and Company and inspired by Galveston's rich architectural heritage, this is a place of welcoming porches and time-honored architecture. A DIFFERENT SIDE OF GALVESTON
Beachtown is situated along one of the most coveted stretches of coastline in Texas. Located on one of the rare spots along the Gulf Coast where nature is making the beaches wider. In stark contrast to the island’s West End, our beaches have grown several feet per year since the early 1900s. The widening beaches are among the many natural gifts and ecological wonders of this very special place by the sea. Nestled between the gulf and an 800-acre nature preserve, yet only located less than 10-minutes’ drive to downtown Galveston.

When developing an architectural language for Beachtown we searched for what is beautiful and timeless and for what makes sense near the sea. We arrived at an aesthetic that blends perfectly with the storied heritage of Galveston while engineering the homes to last. Storms are a part of life on the coast. That's why Beachtown is only community on the Texas Coast to implement the FORTIFIED Home™ for Safer Living Program developed by the Institute for Business and Home Safety. This national, inspection-based initiative ensures buildings are more resistant to destructive forces such as hurricanes.

Beachtown is Galveston’s only beachfront community with a year-round restaurant, complemented by iconic beach walkovers, tree-lined walkways, swimming pool, and bocce courts.

Valet beach chair and umbrella service adds another level of convenience for homeowners and guests alike.
